Oh yeah the original exists.

The original Megaman feels... weird and surprisingly unorthodox, compared to the rest of the games in the NES era. It lacks a password system, has a completely useless point system, and looks generally unpolished compared even to MM2. It also only has six robot masters, while the other games in the series have eight. In Megaman Powered Up, Timeman and Oilman were added to make eight robot masters.

The stuff isn't exactly a walkthrough or guide - I just need to put stuff here for reference. I'm tired of going thru page after page of MMKB when I can just document everything here. All the information here was likely sourced from there if not strategywiki, and all of the information here is stuff that I find personally important, so if you're looking for something that isn't on here, look elsewhere.
