Rūta Kosmatka (ルータ・コスマトカ Rūta Kosumatoka) Is a Latvian-Polish robot designed to sing and entertain. Despite being somewhat well-known in some areas, she doesn't particularly act like it.
Rūta is a very sweet and generous person, but often doesn't stop to think about what she's doing. She has an affinity for alcohol, and will bring it to parties if asked. She has an informal (and fairly rude) way of speaking in English, but is much more polite in Polish and Latvian. She is generally relaxed and appears to not care for her own personal safety.
As of her conceptialization, Rūta does not have a special weapon.

Sofija and Rūta have run into each other frequently on the latter's trips to Riga. The two aren't particularly close, but used to go to events together in the 70's and 80's. Despite not having any real, intimate relationship with each other, Rūta will sometimes joke that Sofija is her lesbian lover. Rūta likely does have feelings for her, though.
